Welcome to Open Hands, Soft Palms. I’m Jacinta Lee, a Love, Sex & Relationship Coach, registered nurse, yoga teacher and author.

My journey to erotic confidence and self-love began two decades ago with my own struggles. I was at war with myself. From a young age I had lived with low self-esteem, low self-confidence and low self-worth. In my twenties I was in therapy coming to terms with my CHSA, ADHD, the impact dyslexia had in my life and the complex PTSD I had been living with from a young age. All in all, life was pretty overwhelming and complicated.

I began seeing a psychotherapist and as I unpacked my trauma and went deeper into therapy I realised, as a grown woman I still had no spiritually comprehensive structure or deeply feminine understanding about my body. Traditional schooling education had taught me about biology, sex and teenage relationships. Religion taught me about harlots, sacrifice, betrayal, forgiveness and innocence. My family taught me about domestic violence, relationship dysfunction, emotional abuse and loneliness. My intimate relationships with men had taught me to become cautious and guarded, hyper-independent and totally resilient to emotional damage. Therapy was now teaching me to soften. But who was I as a whole? As a woman? As a spiritual being? I still did not know and this is where my journey into Sacred Feminine Arts began.

After working with a therapist for about 9 months he suggested I attend a Shakti Circle. After researching Shakti Circles I felt apprehensive. My resistance to attending the Shakti Circle cannot be emphasised enough. Having been subjected to bulling and harassment from other women majority of my life, I was terrified. Throughout my life I had witnessed other women behave in ways that repulsed me. Women had taught me 'womanhood' was about wearing masks, conforming, engaging in jealousy, being deceitful, competing for attention and comparing ourselves with each other. It was absolutely toxic and I was seeking the exact opposite of this.

The last thing I wanted to do was sit in a circle of women and emotionally explore my deepest feminine vulnerabilities. Nope. No thank you. However, I was desperate for answers and needed to change. So, with a deep breath and a leap of faith, off I went to my very first Shakti Circle.

A decade has passed now and from that very first night at the Shakti Circle I was placed onto the path of Sacred Femininity. What I found in the Shakti Circle was leadership, openness, inclusion, tenderness, vulnerability, understanding, a willingness to share and teach and above all a magical energetic connection that cannot be described with words but only felt with with body. I found all the things I’d been craving and so much more!

I spent the next decade learning all I could about Sacred Feminine Arts. The deeper I went, the more I would find and anybody who has stepped onto this path would tell you - It is a never ending journey of self-discovery, I became a student all over again but not in the traditional sense, in a personal development sense. This was a journey of self-discovery. I explored the realms of tantra, erotic archetypal dance, yoni massage, somatic embodiment, yoga, shadow work, lineage healing, the art of sacred feminine ritual, psychology, kinesiology, spiritualism, chiropractic care, acupuncture, religion and esoteric philosophy. I was a sponge, absorbing everything until I started becoming a teacher myself. In the beginning of this journey I was determined to learn all I could and become what I considered to be a living example of The Sacred Feminine. And so it is.

Today, I use my experiences, education, and skills to empower women to transform their lives, fostering yoni (vulva) love through gentle practical somatic education, erotic empowerment, emotional embodiment and self-love connection.
